The Spider Plant is a hardy and popular houseplant known for its arching, narrow leaves with green and white stripes. It produces small white flowers on long stems, which later develop into “spiderettes” or baby plants, giving it a cascading appearance. Native to tropical and southern Africa, the Spider Plant is very adaptable and tolerates a wide range of growing conditions, making it an excellent choice for beginners.
It’s also known for its air-purifying qualities, removing indoor pollutants and improving air quality. Spider Plants are relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal watering and thriving in indirect light.
