Description
Cinnamon Tree is a tropical evergreen known for its aromatic bark, which is used to produce the popular spice cinnamon. Native to Sri Lanka and parts of South Asia, the Cinnamon Tree is cultivated for its flavorful bark and is also valued for its evergreen foliage.
The tree produces long, narrow leaves and small, inconspicuous flowers, but it is the bark that is most sought after. Cinnamon is harvested by stripping the inner bark, which is then dried and rolled into cinnamon sticks or ground into a powder. The tree prefers tropical and subtropical climates, thriving in warm, humid conditions.
