Calcium Nitrate + Boron 2lb Bag

This fertilizer provides fast-acting nitrate-N, alongside strength-building calcium. In combination with boron, these nutrients fuel prolonged growth. Plants and trees treated with Calcium Nitrate grow healthier and less sensitive to stress.

Calcium nitrate fertilizers also improve the size, taste and appearance of the fruit, tuber, or leafy green at harvest. This formulation includes nitrates, the preferred nitrogen source form. Crops respond more quickly to nitrate. It is also more mobile in the soil and immediately available to the crop.

Nutrient Composition:

• 15,4% Nitrogen
• 26.0 % Calcium
• 0.3% Boron

How to Use:

The dosage will vary widely based on current soil conditions and the size of the plant or area you are fertilizing.

You should experiment with conservative dosages until you can see how your crops react to the dosage.

As a starting point you can begin by applying:

• 10-50g/m² for Ornamentals and leafy greens
  
• 50–80g/m² for fruit trees (depending on the size)

Apply preferably before a rain, spread around the base of your plant or tree, avoid applying too close to the stalk. There is no need to incorporate into the soil, it can be applied over the surface, these granules are coated to protect them from volatilizing until in contact with water.
