CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Normally, CSAs require consumers to pre-pay for their produce ahead of the harvest season, this way farmers can plan ahead how much to plant for the season and avoid food waste, it also provides the necessary capital to farmers ahead of the season.
We don't have a growing season here and we grow food 365 days a year. Our CSA is a bit different, instead of pre-paying ahead of the season, we ask customers to make a commitment to placing a minimum order of $25 per week.
Another difference with conventional CSAs is that you get to choose what you order each week.
This model allows us to plan our production based on the number of customers we have. Another benefit of CSA models is the long-term relationship between farmers and customers. We do our best to grow what our customers want to eat (as long as it can be grown here), and we encourage our customers to provide recommendations as to what they wish to see available in our shop.
Although we have a weekly commitment, we understand some people may need to leave town and won't be available every week of the year. If that's the case, just let us know and we'll pause your delivery until you return.
As a customer, you commit to:

As a farmer, we commit to:
Growing the most nutritious organic greens, fruits, and vegetables.
Growing without the use of chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides.
Listening to our customer's recommendations and growing what our customers want to eat.

We believe food should travel from farm to table, to be as fresh and nutritious as possible. We currently serve Isla Solarte, Careneros, Bahia Honda, Red Frog, Old Bank, and Bocas Town.
We have an order minimum of $25 dollars.

We accept cash on delivery. If you need to arrange a different payment method please get in touch.
If you have a hotel or restaurant and would like to get organic produce please get in touch to see if we can accommodate you.

The price to rent the cabin is $95 per night for up to 2 adults and 2 children. To confirm your booking you must pay a 50% deposit. If we have the availability we'll send you a link to pay your deposit.
Here are a few things to consider before you book your stay with us:
We are located in a rugged area, surrounded by rainforest and by the sea. Our farm is not ideal for very young children. If you wish to come with young children, they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
If you have any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or special diets please let us know below to make sure we can accommodate your needs.
We are located on Isla Solarte, on this island, there are no stores, bars, restaurants, or shops. If you need anything special during your stay be sure to bring it with you.
We recommend you bring: a headlight, bug repellent, and a good book in case of rain :-)
Some of the trails can get muddy during rainy days, we recommend you bring hiking shoes or boots if you want to walk on the trails and around the farm.
If you would like to enjoy the night scene, keep in mind we may not be a good fit due to our secluded location. Most bars and restaurants are located on the main island.
After booking we'll contact you to help you arrange transport to and from our place.
