📓 Habanero Chilli Recipe:

Habanero chili is a popular and flavorful recipe that combines the intense spiciness of habanero peppers with savory ingredients making it a delicious dish.

🥄 Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Garlic Chives
  • 1 Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 5 medium Carrots, chopped
  • 2 Celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 large Tomatoes, diced
  • 2 Habanero Peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 4 strips of Bacon, chopped
🥄 Instructions:
  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crisp. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  2. Add the ground beef to the pot and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
  3. Add the chopped onion, garlic, chives, bell pepper, carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally until the vegetables are softened (about 10-12 minutes).
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, habanero peppers, chili powder, oregano, cumin, salt, and smoked paprika to the pot. Stir to combine and bring the chili to a simmer.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer, stirring occasionally, for at least 1 hour or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together.
  6. Taste the chili and adjust the seasoning as needed with more salt or spices.
  7. Serve the habanero chili hot, garnished with the reserved crispy bacon and additional chives or grated cheese, if desired.
